so i got an e-mail today from my photo professor and we actually have to show 10 pieces of NEW work the first week of class. not only was i surprised AND pissed, but afterward i realized that i don’t know where the studio is, how to rent anything, or what the hell to take pictures of. he told us last week when we met that we weren’t expected to know our thesis by the first day of...

today i boxed up more of the new topographics show to send them to barcelona. and i got to climb up near the ceiling to tape off the windows to preserve the images in the museum. too bad it’s not my paying job.
a great use of my friday off. totally did nothing but listen to records and play guitar. at 5 i drove my car home to my parents house for safe keeping, and returned to the city to eat at the opening night of good luck, the restaurant my girlfriend works at. so much good food and wine/beer. later, a bike ride and more beers! i love days off.
